Intro to Wilder Camp FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • Where will my camper be sleeping?

Intro to Wilder Campers will be sleeping in Tenabins at our Wilderness Camp site in the woods! It is a roughly 15 minute hike from the Main Lodge.

Campers will sleep in Tenabins (Tent Cabins) with hard wood floors. Campers are responsible for bringing their own sleeping gear. There are fan units in the Tenabins to keep them cool.

  • Where and when do I drop off my camper?

When you arrive on property to drop off your camper, we will guide you where to go. Please refer to your what to bring form for more detailed information on pick up/ drop off times.

    Our address is 1242 280th St | Inwood, IA | 51240

  • What happens if my camper gets homesick?

Our amazing staff are trained to make the campers feel welcome and at home, and we do our best to talk through feelings of homesickness and get the camper back to having fun. Calling home is our final attempt at helping the campers to make it through their stay at camp

  • Will my camper ever be exposed to peanuts?

We are always diligent about taking allergies into account during summer camp. If your camper has a peanut allergy, please let us know in your registration.
