A Time to Come Together
For 50 years, God's faithfulness has sustained Inspiration Hills Camp and Retreat Center! Throughout all those years, a lot has changed! Looking back at Inspiration Hills' history, we see how new buildings have come up on property, new technologies have updated the way camp reaches people, and growth in the size and scope of camp has increased its impact. In Celebration of God's everlasting faithfulness in the midst of all that history, we will be hosting a 50 Year Anniversary Celebration on August 8-10, 2025! Frequently Asked Questions
What is the address for Inspiration Hills?
Great question!
Our address is...
1242 280th St
Inwood, IA 51240
Can I bring my own food and drinks to the event?
That's a good question! I'm glad you asked. The answer is yes!
Where will I park when I come for the event?
We will have free parking available on site. We will also have golf carts available to help bring people closer to the main area. There will be limited handicap spots available for attendees. See registration for parking information.
What should I bring to the event?
Another fantastic question! What you bring is up to you of course, but here's a good list of things to consider!
- Lawn chair for concert
- Sunscreen
- Swimsuit if you wish to enjoy our pool or slip n slide
- Outdoor clothes
- Proper footwear (closed toed shoes are required for axe-throwing, archery tag, and high ropes course)
- $- free will donations for meals, canteen will be open, The 50th Merch Collection, time of giving during the concert
What will be the seating be like for the Jason Gray concert?
Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the Jason Gray concert!
Can I bring my pet?
Campground guests may bring pets. Our policy for any pets on property is that they must remain in the camping area on a leash.
What about the weather?
Sunshine: We pray for this! Please do not forget sunscreen and to hydrate!
Rain: We will go on. Bring your rain gear! (Umbrellas, ponchos, rain boots etc.) Scheduled outdoor activities may be moved earlier or later depending on weather.
What is the refund/cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes life circumstances come up! If you're no longer able to come to the event for any reason, please feel free to let us know and we can issue you a partial refund or leave a donation camp. (credit card transaction charges are not refundable.) If the event is canceled, the price of your pass and taxes will be refunded.
I have no connection to Inspiration Hills. Can I still come?
Of course! All are welcome to come enjoy the weekend regardless of your affiliation with camp.
Why is this a ticketed event instead of being free admission?
There are several reasons why we made the decision to have ticketed admission to the weekend.
- HEAD COUNT It helps us to have a proper head count beforehand of how many people are coming so we can plan ahead for meals!
- MORE CONVENIENT FOR YOU It's more convenient for you to pay for one ticket than it is for you to pay for all our activities/ meals individually. In other words, we'd rather you simply pay one simple fee for a wristband that gives you admission for EVERYTHING! That includes all the meals, activities, and the Jason Gray concert! It's all covered by one small up front cost.
- YOUR TICKET SUPPORTS CAMP If we could make everything free, we would! However, the truth is that Inspiration Hills needs income to stay afloat and continue to be a blessing to the community. We charge only the amount that is necessary to maintain our budget of the event, nothing more. The rest is raised through the generous donations of our sponsors and individual donors.
