Food Service FAQs

  • What time are meals in the Dining Hall?

Breakfast is served at 8:30 am, lunch is served at 12 pm, and dinner is served at 5:30 pm.

Guests are encouraged to arrive 5-7 minutes early for all meals to allow for time to wash hands, get settled, and hear directions about the meal from their host.

  • How much do meals cost?

Prices are per person. Minimum 10 adults per meal. Ages 0-3 free and ages 4 – 12 receive $2 off per meal. Breakfast is $10.40, lunch and dinner is $14.30, and a sack lunch is $9.50. Morning or evening snacks can be provided for the group for $3.50 per person.

  • What is your Dining Hall experience like?

Depending on the cooks’ choice, meals will be served at the table family style, or buffet style at our kitchen’s serving window. When you arrive at the dining hall your host will instruct you how you will be served that day. Then they will give any other meal instructions or announcements, followed by leading the group in a prayer. At the end of the meal, please bring all dishes to the dish room window and dispose of garbage in the large garbage can. A representative at each table will then wipe off the table with a dish cloth once everyone has finished eating.

  • My group is cooking our own meals. What do I need to know?

If your group is cooking, you are most likely staying in our Eaglecrest Lodge, or Cabins.

These kitchens have a sink, refrigerator/freezer, stove and microwave. Basic small appliances, serving utensils and cookware are stocked in the cupboards and drawers. There are also dishes, drinking glasses, silverware, etc. for the number of people that kitchen/meeting area is designed to hold. If you are a cook used to certain knives, appliances, etc., it may be a good idea to bring those items from home as our kitchens are stocked with very basic items.

  • Can my group rent the Dining Hall kitchen?

No. State laws restrict us from allowing guests to use or enter the camp kitchen. Only trained staff and volunteers can access these areas.
