Discovery camp is a 3 day/2 night camp often referred to as 'Disco' camp! This is a great way to discover what it’s like to stay overnight at camp.

This camp is intended for campers who are looking to try out an overnight camp for the first time.

Campers will spend their time playing games, exploring creation, studying God’s word, bonding with their bunk group and more. Bring a friend and come discover new adventures here at Inspiration Hills!

What to Expect

GETTING SETTLED IN

The first day of camp is a different experience for every Discovery camper. For some, excitement is high in anticipation of the adventure ahead, for others it might be there first time away from home and they are nervous! Their counselor's mission is to meet them where they're at, get to know them, and help get them adjust to the new environment.

Day 1 of Discovery Camp typically includes an introductory chapel and worship session in the water at our swimming pool followed by games and activities!

After a long and exciting day, campers will hunker down for the night in our bunk room at the main lodge!

TIME FOR FUN!

On the second day of Discovery Camp, campers can look forward to another chapel and worship session. During this time, our counselors will help them process what they've been learning throughout the day with Bible study time.

Each camper will grow closer to the bunk group they've been placed in through the various team building activities they get to do and their shared meal times.

This day is packed with even more games and activities including OAT, open activity time, in which they are free to explore a number of activities taking place all at once.

Some of our most famous evening activities include running pictionary and of course, BONKERS!

PICK UP DAY!

The final day of camp for Discovery Campers includes one final chapel and time to pack up.

After a special large group game it will be time for final chapel! Parents and family members are invited to come and see their kids sing and dance to all the songs and recap all the lessons they've learned throughout the week!

We always encourage parents to ask their camper what they learned on the drive home after the week is over. After all, camp may be over, but their journey doesn't stop there!
