Building & Grounds Manager

45-50 hrs/week – Salaried Position – Employees are asked to host a few weekends a year taking their turn and being on site for guests, and available for events on Saturdays & Sundays.

Applicant must have physical strength to lift, carry, dig, unload, mop, repair, etc.

Applicant must be able to supervise, coordinate, observe what needs to be done, and participate in maintenance and janitorial activities for the facilities and grounds of Inspiration Hills. Applicant must be able to acquire a CDL and a Swimming Pool Operator License. Qualified applicant should be able to perform general electrical, construction, and have knowledge of basic tools and equipment. Applicant must be flexible on tasks assigned, work well with people, promote camp, and carry out Inspiration Hills Mission & Vision statements.  Applicant must be able to lead and supervise building and grounds staff and provide a safe work environment. Desire to live and work in a camp community and be a self starter and organized is a must! 

Additional tasks:  Maintain roadways and driveways of camp facilities, attend staff meetings, be knowledgeable of state and federal regulations of sewer, land, and basic standards of property. Tasks are assigned by Executive Director & Board of Directors.
